Eleven people have applied for the vacant position on the Grand Forks School Board. The applicants include Justin Berry, Kelly Hogness, Mike Kraemer, Greg Krause, and Karen Lynnes. C.T. Marhula, John Martin, Alex Reichert, Becky Ronkowski, Arline Schubert and Cynthia Shabb have also applied.
The board expects to elect someone new at its Monday night meeting. Ballots will be written, but aren't secret, so board members must sign each one. The new person will be a temporary replacement for Dr. Lyle Hall, who recently resigned from the position.
