Educational leaders from all over North Dakota came together to today to develop a plan for learning. North Dakota is transitioning to "Common Core State Standards." At this point, all but a handful of states have adopted the new Standards. North Dakota students will be assessed on "Common Core Standards" for the first time in April 2015. State educational leaders say times have changed and students must be educated so they can compete in the new global economy.
