Duquette to retire as City Administrator

A longtime and highly respected city employee has announced his retirement. Grand Forks City Administrator Richard Duquette has decided to retire after serving the city for 34 years.

A longtime and highly respected city employee has announced his retirement. Grand Forks City Administrator Richard Duquette has decided to retire after serving the city for 34 years.

Duquette spent 17 years with the police force then served as the assistant to the Mayor for five years. In 2001 he was promoted to City Administrator. Duquette says helping the city come back from the 1997 flood has been a wonderful experience. He also told WDAZ he worked hard on team building and leadership development during his time with the city.
