Red Lake Reservation caretaker pleads guilty to child endangerment

The caretaker of a baby girl in the Red Lake Indian Reservation has pleaded guilty to child endangerment.

The caretaker of a baby girl in the Red Lake Indian Reservation has pleaded guilty to child endangerment.

21-year-old Travis Aaron Rosebear took care of the 15-month-old girl and five other children while their parents were away in late December of 2011 and early January of 2012. Investigators say he admitted he carried the girl by one arm and swinging her down a hallway after becoming frustrated. Her arm was fractured as a result and she had a bruise on the back of her head. Rosebear faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
