GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The Energy and Environmental Research Center on the University of North Dakota campus says its funded contracts set a record for the sixth straight year.
In the fiscal year that ended June 30, the EERC was awarded more than $43.9 million in funding.
The center says its overall research portfolio, which includes all active contracts, jumped to nearly $237 million, an increase of more than $10 million over the previous year.
The EERC's contracts represent more than half of all externally funded research at the university.
