Panera planning Grand Forks store

The Panera Bread chain of bakeries and cafes plans to open a Grand Forks location. According to Grand Forks city staff, the company plans to build on the site of a former Taco Bell restaurant at 2515 32nd Ave. S.

The Panera Bread chain of bakeries and cafes plans to open a Grand Forks location.

The company’s website is advertising for workers at new locations in Grand Forks and Fargo.

According to Grand Forks city staff, the company plans to build on the site of a former Taco Bell restaurant at 2515 32nd Ave. S.

Panera’s menu includes breads, sandwiches, pasta, soup and salads.

The St. Louis-based company operates 1,652 locations in 44 states and one Canadian province, according to its website. The two North Dakota stores will be its first in the state.
