For the sixth year in a row, Grand Forks has been named one of the 100 best communities in the country for young people. The Grand Forks Youth Commission had a luncheon today to celebrate and to kick off its "Youth can Support Our Troops" campaign.

Members say they're always looking for ways to get young people involved in giving back to the community. Mayor Michael Brown spoke to the crowd of young leaders and community members saying he's proud of the youth and mentors in Grand Forks for being problem solvers.

Brown: "It's nice to have them find the solutions to problems because then those solutions will work. We can't force feed those things. It's nice that they find them and they work and our community is better for it."

In addition to the support our troops campaign, the youth commission plans to focus on preventing cyber bullying.
