Two weeks ago, the UND football team was finally able to begin spring practice at Memorial Field.
That came after spending days of shoveling snow off the turf so they could practice.
Well, the players can finally say goodbye to using snow banks as their sideline.
On the eve of their spring game, the green and white practiced inside at the Alerus Center preparing for tomorrow's affair.
The team went for about an hour Friday and is excited to showcase the winter's hard work to the fans.
UND wide receiver Kenny Golladay, "I'm pumped. I got some people that I need to see tomorrow(Saturday), some corners I need to have a nice little battle with. Chris Brown, Chris Hall, Rumeal Harris, they need to come see me tomorrow."
Friday marked 131 days away from UND's home opener against Valparasio.
And the quarterback competition is just heating up.
All eyes will be on number seven and number 14 at the spring game.
Wearing the seven will be the freshman Ryan Bartels, the sunslinger out of Sycamore, Illinois.
In the 14 jersey is Joe Mollberg, also a freshman, from Detriot Lakes, Minnesota.
And as the two battle it out, the team will only benefit.
UND head coach Chris Mussman, "It's a healthy competition. I really like the way that their getting along, they are helping each other out. There is no animosity, they know that they are in a competition. Each guy has stepped up in spring ball and I've been pleasantly surprised with our quarterback play."
