A North Dakota political legend will share stories from more than a generation ago of congressional battles to try and improve water access in the state.

Former Senator Mark Andrews is coming to Devils Lake to discuss water issues the region faced in the 1970s and 80s. It's part of the "faces of the flood" series sponsored by the North Dakota Chautauqua. Andrews was heavily involved in water issues during his time in congress, especially the uncompleted Garrison Diversion Project. Andrews speaks tonight at Lake Region State College beginning at 7:00.
