A Flood Watch has been issued across much of the region today. Warm temperatures will cause much of the remaining snowpack in the Red River Valley to move quickly towards streams and rivers.

A Flood Watch has been issued across much of the region today. Warm temperatures will cause much of the remaining snowpack in the Red River Valley to move quickly towards streams and rivers.

The snowpack in Devils Lake and Minnesota Lakes Country will have significant melting throughout the weekend and into next week. This is video of the Red River taken this afternoon. The national weather service has not predicted exactly when or how high the river will crest at Grand Forks. But say it is likely two weeks away. The boat ramps on red river in Grand Forks area have been closed and the Emergency Operation Center is now open.
