Grand Forks police seek help finding missing 14-year-old girl

Alana Dow was last seen at about 10 p.m. on Sunday. She was reported missing Monday from a Grand Forks home. Police officers have been following up with her friends and acquaintances, but have received no leads that could point to a possible location.

A 14-year-old Grand Forks girl is missing and the Police Department is asking the public for help.

Alana Dow was last seen at about 10 p.m. on Sunday. She was reported missing Monday from a Grand Forks home.

Police describe Dow as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with reddish brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink “Fighting Sioux” sweatshirt, black yoga pants and black shoes. Dow also wears glasses and has a splint on her right arm.

Police officers have been following up with her friends and acquaintances, but have received no leads that could point to a possible location.
