Copper thieves strike in Crookston

Copper thieves struck Crookston (Minn.) Welding and Napa Auto Parts on May 9 and stole an estimated $1,000 worth of the metal, the Police Department revealed today.

Copper thieves struck Crookston (Minn.) Welding and Napa Auto Parts on May 9 and stole an estimated $1,000 worth of the metal, the Police Department revealed today.

Surveillance video shows a dark-colored pickup parking on the property and two people getting out at around 4:46 a.m. One suspect wore a dark long-sleeve shirt or jacket, dark pants and white shoes. The other wore a dark long-sleeve shirt or jacket, lighter pants and dark shoes.

Police are asking those with information to call (218) 281-3111. The business is offering a $1,000 reward.
