A Binford, North Dakota man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly running over a woman he lives with and fleeing the scene.

The Griggs County Sheriff says 36-year-old Tyronza Watkins ran over 28-year-old Jessica Overby in a 2002 Chevy Avalanche before hitting the home they share at 110 Broad street in Binford on Monday. 41-year-old Dawn Leninger was also injured in the incident. Overby remains hospitalized in Fargo. Her condition is unknown.

Watkins left the first car and fled the scene in a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada. He was apprehended early Wednesday afternoon near Bloomington, Illinois in that same vehicle. Along with attempted murder, Watkins also faces a reckless endangerment charge.
