The community came together tonight to help a Buxton family who lost their home to a fire earlier this month. People came to the Knights of Columbus Hall in Reynolds, North Dakota to support the Lacrosse family. There was food and live music. John and Julie Lacrosse and their five children lost everything in the fire. They say they're overwhelmed by the response from the community, and they're grateful to have each other. They say they're going to start rebuilding their home Monday.
John & Julie Lacrosse: "It's an incredible feeling to have this sense of community and the number of people we're seeing out there has just been phenomenal. The people we've seen since this happened has been incredible."
If you would like to help the Lacrosse family, you can send a donation to Nancy Vodden at Burlington Northern Credit Union, 3030 Demers Avenue, Grand Forks, North Dakota 58201.
