For the first time this year, Lake Region Anglers are now able to enjoy public boat ramps.
The Lake Region Anglers Association spent last night putting ramps in the water at four spots around the Lake. Anglers can now get their boat in the water hassle free at Creel Bay, Pelican Bay, Six Mile Bay and across from Camp Grafton. The Lake Region Anglers usually get the ramps in about a month earlier. They say the extra wait means it'll be even sweeter to get out on the lake.
Bob Gibson: "We're really excited, because you know, the livelihood with tourism and everything else. People want to get their boats in the water and it's really difficult to get in without a dock."
The anglers still have one set of docks to put in, which they say will happen shortly.
