North Dakota democrats met in Grand Forks today to discuss the recent legislative session. Some felt there were some missed opportunities in the session and are a working out a plan to correct them next time.

Democrats said they had 80 days to put a plan together and many of them are upset that they missed the opportunity to put it together. The blue party met at a local restaurant to put a new plan together and focus on efforts to push it during the next legislative session.

Sen. Tyler Axness, District 16: "Instead of building the vision for North dakota we spent a lot of time on some misguided priorities as some people here are saying."

Senator Axness says he's seen more people become involved recently than in the last four years.
