North Dakota's tourism website is changing and tourism leaders say it will help out on-the-go travelers.
The website is getting some upgrades to make it easier for mobile tourists to access information from the webpage via smartphone, laptop or tablet. The new technology is to make sure the webpage is compatible with all electronic devices.
Sara Otte Coleman/Tourism Division Director: "One of them is responsively designed, which means it will adjust whether you are accessing it on your home computer, a laptop, your ipad, or your smart phone it will automatically adjust the sizing and the content thats delivered based on how you are accessing the information. What we have found is more and more folks are looking at the website, our website specifically on moblie so that was an important feature we have added."
Some of the other upgrades to the tourism site include new photographs, easy-to-access tabs, and a customized content for users based on location and interest.
