Continued rains cause flood concerns for Grafton, Park River, surrounding communities

Two days of heavy rains has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning for Walsh County until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. Flood problems are mounting across much of northeastern North Dakota after nearly five inches of rain fell near Park River in the past 24 hours.

Two days of heavy rains has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning for Walsh County until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. Flood problems are mounting across much of northeastern North Dakota after nearly five inches of rain fell near Park River in the past 24 hours. All that rain, combined with even more today has left sump pumps working hard and many fields flooded. David Schwab reports.
