A man traveling the nation to do service work was robbed while making a pit stop in Fargo. He had already made it to 37 different states but his luck changed in North Dakota.

Daniel Becton stopped at West Acres Mall in May, before continuing on to Sioux Falls. He was 38 weeks into his 51 week adventure of volunteering in every state. Along the way he was writing a book and filming a documentary. Becton says he forgot to lock his car while at the mall and that's when he was robbed.

Becton: "My laptop, my passport, as well as a lot of notes and a video camera. They also went through the car and took some other stuff like my ipod and my USB drive, so all of the back ups are gone."

Fargo Police are working on the case. Becton says he doesn't hold a grudge against the people of Fargo but would like his electronics back to complete his documentary.
