Minnesota couple facing felony drug charges following Grand Forks traffic stop

A northwest Minnesota couple faces felony drug charges after fleeing police during a downtown Grand Forks traffic stop. 24-year-old Nick Schouviller of Fosston and 20-year-old Peyton Stuhaug of McIntosh were stopped May 29th on Demers Avenue after a witness reported a "domestic disturbance" inside their vehicle.

A northwest Minnesota couple faces felony drug charges after fleeing police during a downtown Grand Forks traffic stop. 24-year-old Nick Schouviller of Fosston and 20-year-old Peyton Stuhaug of McIntosh were stopped May 29th on Demers Avenue after a witness reported a "domestic disturbance" inside their vehicle.

While police questioned them, Schouviller ran and Stuhaug drove away, but they were quickly stopped. Officers found 100 small baggies of methamphetamine, syringes and a scale.

Schouviller and Stuhaug were each jailed on two felony charges: possessing meth with intent to make or deliver and possession of meth paraphernalia, as well as 2 misdemeanors.
