Fargo VA expands staff to better serve veterans' mental health needs

In order to meet the growing demand from veterans, the Fargo VA is expanding its staff. This stems from President Obama's executive order one year ago to improve veterans' access to mental health care.

In order to meet the growing demand from veterans, the Fargo VA is expanding its staff. This stems from President Obama's executive order one year ago to improve veterans' access to mental health care.

In Fargo, that will mean 12-new mental health professionals. The VA is also expanding the use of new technology to serve vets in rural and under-served areas. Since May, the VA has hired 16-hundred mental health clinicians.
