It will be called the "Choice Wellness Center."
That today as the Grand Forks Park District announced the naming rights for its new fitness center.
Choice Financial bank paid $2.75 million for the naming rights to the new facility.
Those millions will be paid off over a 25 year period.
The Park District has been raising money for the new 25 million dollar facility that will replace the city's Center Court Fitness Center.
It will be located along South Washington Street in Grand Forks, North of 47th Avenue South on the eastern side of south Washington.
The land was donated by Crary Real Estate.
Today's announcement that the center will be called "Choice" is one step closer to the project being reality.
About $2 to $6 million of the money raised could go to updating the Grand Forks YMCA.
Right now memberships at both Center Court and the YMCA work at both facilities.
In December, the Park District and Altru signed a lease agreement that has Altru leasing 75-hundred square feet in the proposed building.
That means the health system will cover a fourth or fifth of the mortgage payment.
Construction could start as early as this summer.
