Harley riders celebrate motorcycle maker's 110th anniversary

About 35,000 Harley-Davidson bikers gathered in central Rome this weekend. It was part of a festival to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the founding of the American motorcycle maker.

About 35,000 Harley-Davidson bikers gathered in central Rome this weekend. It was part of a festival to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the founding of the American motorcycle maker.

The riders came from all over the world to tour the Eternal City atop Harley-Davidson models, both modern and vintage - to the delight of tourists and locals alike. As well as the parade, the anniversary festival included celebrations at the Port of Ostia, the harbour city of ancient Rome, as well as a special bike blessing inside St. Peter's Square on Sunday.
