About 140 people took part in a land search for a missing rural Minto man. It's been almost 2 months since 55-year-old Guy Miller was swept away by high water near Minto. His body has not yet been recovered. There have been many searches by law enforcement, but family and friends of Miller started their own effort today.

Starting Tuesday morning around 8:00, ten different teams were brought by bus to different areas along the Forest River, downstream from where Guy Miller's truck was found. The search was organized over the last few days after there was a call for a volunteer search effort through facebook. The search however did not turn up any new clue, but it does help to eliminate areas where Miller body might be. Sheriff Lauren Wild says there may be another law enforcement search using cadaver dogs from Winnipeg in the near future.
