Fenton Named NCHC CommissionerJosh Fenton is the new commissioner of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.

It was announced Monday that Josh Fenton will be the new commissioner of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. The Litchfield, Minn. native will take over for Jim Scherr, who resigned as league commissioner in May to take a position with the European Games.
Fenton most recently served as senior associate athletic director for finance and administration at Miami(OH). He also managed the athletic department's $21 million annual budget.

He has an outstanding background in the business side of college athletics and I'm real confident that he'll come in and do a very good job for the eight institutions within the NCHC."
Fenton will take over July 15th.
