The jury is deliberating the fate of three men Tuesday evening allegedly involved in a Grand Forks home invasion. Both sides gave closing arguments this morning.

The state remained firm today that each defendant should be found guilty of burglary, robbery, aggravated assault, theft and felonious restraint.

The three men charged are Cody Boulduc, Nathan Ratliff and Allen Ratliff. April 30th last year the men allegedly broke into the home of Sherman and Carmen Jones, tied and beat them up and stole various items like prescription drugs and tvs.

The defense argued that there was a lack of forensic evidence to connect the men to the crimes. The state argued that it is unreasonable to believe any three other people could have stolen a car, robbed the Jones' and given all the stolen items to the defendants within an hour.

The jury has until 8 pm Tuesday to return verdicts before the judge will have them stop and come back tomorrow.
