Dozens of dressed up kids strutted in their costumes during the Patriotic Kids Parade this afternoon in downtown Grand Forks. It's a chance for the youngsters to show their American pride and toss out some candy.

It wasn't just walking, some kids hopped their way through the crowd, others rode bikes and a few lucky tots were pushed in wagons. Terry Kolden just moved to town and enjoyed taking her grandson to their first 4th of July parade in Grand Forks.

Kolden: "My grandson loved it. He thought it was lots of fun waving at everybody."

The parade is sponsored by the Grand Forks Park District.
