A Clearbrook-Gonvick junior high school student has been suspended for making a death threat.
Superintendent Al Ralston describes the student as "relatively quiet" and says he had few prior disciplinary records.
He says the student, whose name is not being released because of his age, threatened a female student.
He says there was no danger to anyone else at the school.
Police and sniffer dogs searched the school for weapons, but found none.
The student faces a three-day out of school suspension for now...and school administration will meet tomorrow to decide if that should be extended.
