The reality for the Texas 4000 bikers is that they're biking 4,000 miles on their way to Alaska from Texas. After leaving Fargo this morning, the group of 23 is staying at Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks tonight.

Their goal is to give nearly all money raised in their journey to cancer research, so they rely on donations for food and shelter along the way.

Jake Boren, Texas 4000 Biker: "This trailer behind me is actually stocked full of stuff for Canada. We don't like to tap into our supply right here because we'll be in the wilderness for two weeks straight."

Each day since June 1st they've spent about 8 to 10 hours biking. They hope to finish by August 9th in Anchorage, Alaska.
