It's a big day for a young chef from Oxbow. 8-year-old Charli McQuillan was one of the guests of honor at a state dinner at the White House. She won for the Asian Fajita recipe she perfected with her mom.

Charli joined First Lady Michelle Obama for the Kid's State Dinner this afternoon. Hosted by the First Lady, today's lunch featured a selection of the winning recipes and a surprise visit from the President. Charli tells us she was shocked to learn that she would be attending the dinner.

Charli and her fajitas beat more than 1,300 applicants to be one of 54 winners selected from each state and territory.
