A Fargo woman faces charges after a stabbing Monday night in South Fargo.

A Fargo woman faces charges after a stabbing Monday night in South Fargo.

46-year-old Dawn Nystrom is in custody on charges of aggravated assault and resisting arrest. Around 9:30 Monday night, a passerby spotted two women on the 1500 block of 34th avenue. They appeared to be covered in blood. When police arrived, they found the victim had stab wounds on her torso and slashes on her arms. Nystrom and the victim appeared to be friends, and both were heavily intoxicated.
