170 dogs have been seized from a single farmstead. A Cass County deputy found the dogs living 5 to a cage piled on top of each other.

The sheriff's office just released these pictures from that puppy farm near Wheatland. All 170 dogs are expected to live, but authorities say costs to get them healthy will be extremely high. The grooming alone will be extremely expensive. Authorities say some of the dogs' fur is so matted they couldn't even move.

People living nearby the farm, say they never even guessed their neighbors had been hoarding nearly 200 dogs. Right now the dogs and puppies are at the Casselton Vet Clinic. While we weren't allowed inside there, we did stop by the home where authorities seized the dogs. Kay Cooley reports.
