The total count of the dogs seized from Wheatland has reached 174 after six more were born last night.
Today we were allowed inside the Casselton veterinary clinic to see the dogs for the first time since the seizure. From brand new puppies to their older friends, doctors say all of the dogs are in stable condition and will survive. They are all still in the hands of veterinarians and volunteers, a big step up from their living conditions in Wheatland. Medical treatment for the dogs continues, covering everything from matting and ear infections to heart murmurs and hip dysplasia.
