The Weather Channel's Grass Pollencast is at high for the next four days, giving those with allergies a hard time.

This year's later winter and late spring made for a longer lasting allergy season. Physicians say those suffering with grass allergies will have to hang in there until late August when the fall mold allergy season starts. Windy days and afternoon hours tend to be the worst for those with allergies, and people with asthma may need to take extra precautions.

Dr. Eric Johnson, Altru Health System: "During heavy allergy season a lot of people will have seasonal asthma or if they already have it it will be worse so they may find that their asthma program will have to be stepped up a little bit during allergy season."

Physicians recommend over the counter antihistamines or consulting a doctor for prescription medication.
