An assisted living home in Devils Lake is helping seniors relive the sounds of their youth. Heartland Care Center has just gotten a jukebox filled with hits from the 50s and 60s to go in a 50s-style coffee and ice cream shop.

The jukebox has only been at Heartland for five days, but it's quickly becoming the social hotspot for seniors living at the home.

LaFleur and Son, which sells coin-op games, refurbished and donated the jukebox, but residents don't need any coins for this jukebox. It's free for anyone to play. The gift is part of the Jukebox Memories project, which will send jukeboxes to 20 senior citizen homes across the country. Heartland is only the second home to get their musical gift. The residents say they're grateful to get a chance to listen to their favorite hits from their youth.

The coffee and ice cream shop is open from 2:00 to 4:00 pm seven days a week, but the jukebox is available for residents to play 24/7.
