A couple from Grafton is drumming up support for a family devastated by the loss of their teenage daughter who died in a fire.
15-year-old Rylie Bonham died trying to escape the fire in her family's home in Hawley, Minnesota. Investigators continue to try to determine the cause of the blaze.
It didn't take long after the fire broke out Sunday morning for Rylie's closest friends to decide they needed to come together to remember her, now, Grafton couple David and Barbara Field are trying to help. They know what it's like to lose a child -- their 4-year-old son Mathew Milhem died in a 2012 house fire near Stephen, Minnesota.
"There is life after loss," Barbara says. "It's just a little hard and sometimes they just need a kickstart. Something that the children can benefit from or the parents can benefit from. It can make a world of difference for them, just getting a chance."
