Soon, new families can start to adopt the puppies seized from a farm in Wheatland.

Right now the dogs are in foster homes scattered across the midwest, with their numbers reaching nearly 200, and counting. Authorities first seized about 170 dogs from Smith's Wheatland home. Since then, two of the dogs have already had puppies, and at least 10 more are pregnant.
