The University of North Dakota football team is looking to improve off of last season where it saw its running game average only 133 yards per game. The group is led by Bismarck, North Dakota senior Jake Miller who ran for 580 yards and two touchdowns last season.

The group loses Mitch Sutton who was the team's second leading rusher. The green and white are hoping to get production out of Jer Garman, P.J. Sparks, and Adam Shaugabay.

Luke Schleusner, UND offensive coordinator, "All those guys are pushing for time behind Jake and pushing with each other to see who's going to get the bulk of carries. They've all done some good things and we're excited to see them some more and see where we're at."

UND opens up the season August 29th at home against Valparaiso.
