Though authorities do not have any evidence to suggest this is a criminal situation, they are pursuing all avenues.

People are still encouraged to volunteer in the search. East Grand Forks Police Chief Mike Hedlund says they would like volunteers to be 18 years of age or older and bring a photo ID, as they are checking volunteers in and out of the search to ensure everyone is accounted for. Volunteers are reminded to dress appropriately for rough terrain and thick brush along the Red River. More volunteers would mean search areas could be expanded.

If you would like to volunteer, the staging area is located at the East Grand Forks VFW arena. Donations to help support the Red Cross and Salvation Army efforts to provide meals for search teams are also welcomed.
