Man Injured In East Grand Forks Snowmobile Accident
A North Dakota man has been hospitalized following a snowmobile crash on a ridge along the Red River in East Grand Forks.
EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (AP) - A North Dakota man has been
hospitalized following a snowmobile crash on a ridge along the Red
River in East Grand Forks.
Authorities identified him as 36-year-old Todd Franks of Grand
Forks, N.D.
East Grand Forks police say Franks was speeding when his
snowmobile hit a ridge and went airborne for 60 to 80 feet, then
rolled. Franks was found 50 feet away from the snowmobile.
Franks was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.,
following the 8 p.m. Saturday crash. A spokeswoman says he was in
stable condition on Sunday.
