Family, friends say goodbye to East Grand Forks boy who drowned last week

Family and friends are saying goodbye to 11-year-year old Anthony Kuznia Monday evening. A public visitation is being held in Grand Forks for Kuznia who drowned last week.

Family and friends are saying goodbye to 11-year-year old Anthony Kuznia Monday evening. A public visitation is being held in Grand Forks for Kuznia who drowned last week.

A huge outpouring of support started shortly after Anthony was reported missing Wednesday afternoon. More than 400 turned out to help in the search. Anthony's body was pulled from the Red River Thursday afternoon, and friends gathered Thursday evening to pray for his family.

Funeral services for Anthony will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at the United Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Anthony's name which the family will give to the Grand Forks Park District "Smile Group" of "Ali's Boundless Playground".

Visitation for Anthony will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks. The services are open to the public.
