The Salvation Army has once again stepped up to make sure all kids heading back to school this year have the supplies they'll need. More than 500 school children have been equipped with everything from backpacks to notebooks and pencils. There's still time to pick up supplies. You'll need a valid I-D, proof of address and social security cards for both the student and parent.

For those looking to help out by donating, just drop off backpacks and all school supplies at the University Avenue Salvation Army in Grand Forks.
