Artist formerly of Roseau, Minn. to be featured at River Walk Artists Gallery

The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council has announced the opening of the Maggi Adams exhibit in the River Walk Artists gallery and gift shop. Adams is a Roseau native who wrote many weekly feature stories for the Roseau Times-Region, edited and published by her husband William Adams until 1983.

The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council has announced the opening of the Maggi Adams exhibit in the River Walk Artists gallery and gift shop. Adams is a Roseau native who wrote many weekly feature stories for the Roseau Times-Region, edited and published by her husband William Adams until 1983.

Maggi Adam's original artwork, on loan from the Roseau Area Library, may be viewed in the Northwest Minnesota Art Council Gallery (inside River Walk Artists) from August 23 - September 22, 2013. The exhibit will be featured during the Art and Wine Walk on September 21, 2013. The book of 14 paintings and stories, "Iggam's Dreams" and Maggi Adams notecards of 6 different paintings are available for purchase at the River Walk Artists Gallery and Gift Shop. Also for sale will be Roseau Friends of the Library books “Up North” and “P is for Pioneer”.

The Art Council Gallery and River Walk Artists are located in the River Walk Mall, 211 Demers Avenue, East Grand Forks, Minnesota, across the street from Cabella's on the south.
