Grafton Man Changes Plea In Deadly Accident

A Grafton man facing charges in a vechile/motorcycle accident that killed 2 people is changing his plea.

A Grafton man facing charges in a deadly accident is changing his plea.

Prosecutors say John Klava was driving a minivan on Highway 81 near Minto last July when it crossed the center line and crashed with a motorcycle driven by Bryant Watts, 52 of St. Thomas.

His wife Cynthia was a passenger on the motorcycle.

Both of them died in the crash.

Klava had pleaded not guilty to the charges and was set to go to trial.

His change of plea hearing is scheduled for March 30th.
