After finishing 2-7 last season, Climax-Fisher knows that last season got away from them, that's why they've been preaching the 'f-word' at practice.

Justin Cameron, Climax-Fisher fullback, "We had a good off-season, everybody worked hard and we just hope things go our way this year. We expressed the weight room this summer, a lot of kids in got in there and worked hard, five days a week, that was key."

Another key for the Knights heading into fall as opposed to last, finishing.

Darrin Byklum, Climax-Fisher head football coach, "As a team, we feel that we should of been a little further in the playoffs. The two teams that were in the section championship, we had them down by two touchdowns and we let it go."

The Climax-Fisher players have switched up the attitude, hoping it results in wins.

Jonah Sylvester, Climax-Fisher senior quarterback, "Everyone on the team gets along better with each other a lot better than we did last year. We just hope to get wins. Work hard and we'll get some wins."

Blake Sorenson, Climax-Fisher senior tight end, "We're playing together as a team. We're all working hard, we're all getting off the ball and hustling."

Noel Anderson, Climax-Fisher senior lineman, "We have a lot of team spirit this year and I think we're going to go out and do a lot of good things this year."

Doing it, as a family.

Darrin Byklum, Climax-Fisher head football coach, "We're new up front. Our expectations are to get better every week. Hopefully by the end of the season, come playoff time, we're hitting on all cylinders."
