The Ember coffee house, a non-profit business, is serving coffee with a purpose in downtown Grand Forks.
The coffee shop is serving and selling blends of coffee called the "freedom blend". Two dollars per pound sold go towards preventing sex trafficking in India. The shop has other coffees for a cause like the "life Blend" which helps fight HIV and AIDS world wide.
"We are very passionate about these issues, especially sex trafficking," says Mary Hoeckle. "Personally I'm very passionate about it, but it's just such an easy and tangible way to give to it."
Mary tells us the Freedom Blend is their fastest selling coffee.
