Palmer Retires From UND Aerospace

UND's Director of Flight Operations has retired.
Al Palmer has retired effective immediately from the UND school of Aerospace.
Palmer has worked at UND since 1978, and helped establish UND Aerospace as an international leader in aviation education.
Dr. Bruce Smith, Dean of UND Aerospace says Palmer has been a mainstay of the organization and will be missed.
Palmer says health issues caused his abrupt retirement. He has also quit his duties with the North Dakota National Guard.
