Irish eyes were smiling today in downtown Grand Forks as festivities got underway for St. Patrick's day.
The Kem Shriners were setting up early for the third Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Grand Forks.
The Parade started at Widman's Candy Shop on South Third Street at 3 p-m and moved north to Kelly's Bar on North Third Street.
Sprint cars and the Shriners two-headed car head lined the show... but organizers say it is about more than St. Patrick's day.
"We just wanted another reason for people to celebrate in Grand Forks and enjoy the area and get out and have fun," says Bill Steckler, Parade Organizer.
Steckler says there are hundreds of entries in this years parade including corporations, floats and families.
