In Crookston, the summer flower baskets have come down and soon corn stalks will go up. As a part of the city's beautification efforts, businesses and residents are invited to dress up the downtown for the fall season. The chamber will soon have bundles of corn stalks available for original displays. Each bundle is $15 and the chamber will put them in place for you and pick them up! Then, the displays will be judged during the town's corn stalk jamboree on October 12th.

Crookston Chamber of Commerce Shannon Stassen says, "our businesses really get into it. The citizens in the community really enjoy being a part of it. And when you drive downtown and throughout our community and see the pride that we have, it really makes you feel good."

Corn stalks will be available for purchase by September 16th.
