Fans and players shared a very special moment Thursday just before Grand Forks Central took on Red River on the soccer field. Students surprised the parents of McCain Endres with a short remembrance tribute just before the game.

The 16-year-old died last May after he collided with a car, while riding his motorcycle in downtown Grand Forks. Students at the game from both schools wore blue, McCain's favorite color. Students also presented bouquets of flowers to McCain's parents, who were cheering on his high school soccer team. Just before the game started, students released blue balloons into the sky.
